Part 5 Round House Kick Your Personal Branding into Action!
If you missed the last post click here.
This is the final post in the 5 part series. This post about Implementing, Monitoring, and Adjusting your personal brand.
Having a great plan of action is completely useless without a successful way to implement it. Literally, there are tons of ideas and strategies you can come up with for the new brand you. The problem more then often is the willingness to commit to the set plan. Thomas Edison once said, “Everything in life in life is 5% idea and 95% action.”
5 Ways To Get It Done!
1. Have simplified, clear objectives.
2. Know who, what, where, why, and how.
3. Have expectations on an outcome.
4. Monitor the performance.
5. Have a flexible strategy that can accommodate adjustments. (Example: Booking 5 hours in your schedule to do a 4 hour job. You plan a one hour additional block for adjustments)
And the #1 thing you need to do when it comes to Implementation is Staying the Course!
It takes self discipline and a couple concrete reminders to keep your life on track. (I personally have my goals written on a large banner over my bed.) Always remind yourself what you’re doing is important.)
Monitoring and Adjusting Your Brand…..
Never create an immovable plan of action. All plans need room for adjustments, good or bad. If your plans aren’t producing desirable results or even if you discover new more desirable goals, your plan of action should support those changes. “Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results is crazy” – Albert Einstein.
When you’re out there marketing yourself online, what methods have you found work best for you?
