Personal Branding Star of The Week: George Lucas
George Lucas is typically remembered for his contribution in creating “Star Wars” one of the most epic movies of all the time. You can’t miss the fact that even before he started shooting the movie, critics a.k.a haters, were already labeling his production as a flop.
Spectators made him out to look like the kid who was a half an inch to short to ride the roller coaster, and of course years later he proved to the world, you don’t doubt George Lucas.
What I like about George the most is his creativity. The alien worlds he created manifested from things we see in everyday life.
He literally showed the world, how a slight perspective change could transform an entire universe. George if you’re reading this feel free to contact me, I’ve got a couple ideas for a new movie I’m working on, “Personal Branding Wars”.
The Top 5 Things You Can Learn From George Lucas as a Director
1. Always follow your gut instinct, that’s where success lies.
2. Have intentions on providing an experience not gaining profit.
3. Think the unimaginable. Don’t just live in, but create the world around you.
4. Passion proceeds purpose. Fall in love with your dreams and others will follow.
5. Life is not passive. Take action and create your legacy.
So my friends, I leave you with one of my favorite quotes from a Star Wars jedi.
“Do or do not, there is no try” -Yoda

Hi Karl,
I always say to friends, “try sounds like cry and rhymes with die” never say that word. Love your quote above. I also agree with you that George Lucas is phenomenal and his brand WOW!!! That’s all i can say. I have always followed my gut instinct. I think once you are true to yourself everything falls into place. You must not live by outside opinion of YOU, stay true to your belief, values, and principles. You then become a magnet.
Thanks wholeheartedly for sharing George Luca core values here.
You ROCK!!!!
