Personal Branding Stars of The Week!

Personal Branding StarsEvery week I do a post on Personal Branding tips we can learn from the most influential people in the world. This week I’m not writing about one, but 6 unique and creative souls that inspired this post. There’s no set plan for building a great personal brand, every path is incomparable to the next. Building a brand you can be proud of is life long practice, full of self education and commitment to growth. On your path you might decide you need one or maybe a few mentors to share some insight. That’s why I’m sharing the wisdom these experts today.

John Antonios

“Dare to be different, dare to be unique, drive the change, challenge the status quo, only then can you reach your potential.”

Manal Assaad (The Manalyst)

“Whether you are the cool funny person in your family, the geek in the office, the go-to guy or girl in your click, or the troublemaker in your neighborhood, chances are you have been branded with some label.”

Ryan Rancatore

“The stuff inside that makes folks different and unique has a tough time making it to the surface for some.  The process to aid that struggle is known as personal branding, and that phrase freaks people out – especially those who have mastered the skills organically.”

Mohammed Al-tae

“I saw that many people were not aware of who they were; so I started to help job seekers find and brand themselves in order to stand out and be ahead of the competition.”

Meg Guiseppi

“You need to solicit and assess feedback from those who know you and your work best – peers, managers, staff, employees, clients, mentors, etc.”

Olivier Blanchard (The Brand Builder)

“Be true to your own nature. There’s no point in faking it. A golden retriever isn’t a chihuahua or a pug or a greyhound, and for good reason.”

This is my guaranteed “A” list of Personal Branding experts who have something worth listening to and experiences worth learning from. I hope they bring you as much value as they bring me.

First of all, thank you for including me in such a wonderful list of people and considering me worth of receiving this weekly honor.
I actually wanted to highlight something you said in your opening paragraph that really echoed in my head, “There’s no set plan for building a great personal brand …” – so true!
The word “personal” defines the uniqueness of the brand itself – it’s what makes it your own! The only commonality in the path to achieving a great personal brand is honesty, sincerity, and persistence – and above all – give, give, and then some … don’t stop giving, people respond to genuine and unsolicited kindness … don’t be afraid to pour your heart out! Dare to be different, don’t plagiarize your identity!
    Once again Karl, thank you!
