Personal Branding is your V.I.P pass to landing that great job or meeting that critical connection you’ll need to enhance your life. It is the absolute first thing as self promoters we need to master.  Unfortunately it does make the list of things we commonly over look when starting our careers, and it also makes the top 10 list of the extremely important things we probably won’t learn in college.

How are you hurting your personal brand? Are the actions you’re taking offline reflecting your online image? More simply, how does the “real” you compare to the professional you’re trying to project. Unconfident, Depressed, Belligerent, Indecisive, Shy, Arrogant, and Unfocused people are entering the business world everyday. People want to weed through the faux professionals and find someone they can count and depend on. Your personal brand should project an image of confidence in the area of your expertise. Keeping it simple, show someone who you are without ever having to make a phone call or go on an interview. I know it sounds unreal, but that’s what effective personal branding can do for you.
